First weekend of December – a time to celebrate the season as a community, and support our local businesses. Visit with Santa, enjoy the sights and sounds, shop, eat, bring a donation for those in need, and spend a day downtown.
St. Croix Falls Rivertown Holiday 2012 Itinerary:
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 1
Public Library 10 am – 12 pm: Visit with Santa, family craft, Friends of the SCF Library bake sale, Falls Chamber Ambassador table, Rotary international student & SCF Royalty on hand to assist with the craft. High School Choir begins singing at 11:30. Boxes for food and personal item donations.
Santa Stroll 12 noon – 1 pm: From the Library to Senior Center. Santa will be joined by the high school choir as they carol through downtown.
Senior Center 9 am – 4 pm: Bake sale, coffee & rolls, lunch. Santa will be there to receive visitors from 1-4 pm. Boxes for food and personal item donations.
Overlook Deck 5 pm – 7 pm: Fire pit, caroling, brass ensembles, ice luminaries, cider, coffee & cookies. “It’s a Wonderful Life” on stage at Festival Theatre at 7:30 pm.
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 2
Overlook Deck Park 11 am – 1:30 pm: Fire pit, caroling, Santa, live sheep, coffee, hot chocolate, cookies, make an outdoor birdseed ornament. “It’s a Wonderful Life” on stage at Festival Theatre at 2:00 pm.
