If you are a local business and would like a copy of the Welcome Wannigan Business Directory (without coupon pages) please send $20 and a note to the Chamber office, you may pick one up after we contact you.

Dear Business Friends,

We invite you to participate in an exciting new way to advertise and expand your customer base: a welcome binder for new residents in Taylors Falls and St. Croix Falls. The “Welcome Wannigan” business directory binders are specifically designed for residents who have just moved into the area. It will provide them with information, help them feel personally welcomed and introduce them to local businesses and what we offer.

Business Directory

As new residents move into the area, we will hand-deliver the “Welcome Wannigan” business directory in a three ring-binder and a welcome bag containing a few local goodies or gifts donated from area businesses like yours. Please download and read the complete instructions here. The second page includes an introductory statement and table of contents, and will serve as the first page of the binder. Act quickly and return by July 15. The binder will not only include helpful information that every new resident needs to know, such as fire, police and school district information, post office & library hours and locations, etc., but it will also include advertisements from our local businesses.

Advertising

This is where we need your help. We are asking you to provide us with 50 copies of an 8½ x 11 inch advertisement for your business to be included in the binder. Please deliver them to the Falls Chamber office by July 15. If you would like to include coupons or promotions, please include them on a second 8½ x 11 inch sheet and make any expiration dates no less than 18 months out as our first 50 binders may last nearly a year at the current growth rate in our area. Each business will be limited to two separate sheets, but you may print on both sides of your sheets.

and non-profit organizations.

Non-Chamber members may be included

for $20, payable to the Falls Chamber.

Welcome Goodie Bag

Along with the “Welcome Wannigan” business directory, we will be giving new residents a reusable tote bag. In the bags, we envision some small favors from our local businesses… a small taste of what we have to offer. We are hoping for things like a free pizza coupon with a free movie rental, a small sampling of local jellies or salsas, or perhaps a mug, pen or other promotional item. We welcome your ideas for non-perishable items.
